Overview

The 2011 Jaguar XK Coupe makes for an excellent contender in the midsize coupe segment. With standalone trim on offer, the Jaguar XK has a base MSRP of $83,000. It competes directly with considerably more expensive rivals such as the Porsche 911 Carrera S Coupe and the Maserati GranTurismo Coupe. Meanwhile, the Mercedes-Benz E-Class E550 Coupe is also a potential rival which has the lowest price tag among the bunch. Only a 5.0L V8 engine is offered, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Together, they produce 385 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 5.2 seconds, the XK maintains a combined fuel economy of 19 MPG. Jaguar offers the XK in 14 stunning colors, with the Liquid Silver being a particular favorite of ours.

Buying Advice

There are not many optional packages or features to go through. Still, you can opt for the $2,625 Advanced Technology Package which adds adaptive cruise control and an adaptive front lighting system. Furthermore, a heated windshield and HD radio are also available for $375 and $350 respectively.
