Overview

The 2013 BMW M6 Coupe makes for an excellent contender in the midsize coupe. With just one trim on offer, the BMW M6 has a base MSRP of $108,350, competing directly with the Mercedes-Benz CL-Class, the Jaguar XKR, and the cheapest here, the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe. Only a 4.4L twin-turbocharged V8 engine is offered, mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. Together, they produce 560 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 4 seconds, the M6 maintains a combined fuel economy of 16 MPG. BMW offers the M6 in 14 stunning colors, with the blue metallic being a particular favorite of ours.

Buying Advice

The BMW M cars are always something special, but this M6 is a whole new animal. Sports cars are usually limited to one trim level and the M6 is no exception. Nevertheless, the BMW throws in a wide range of optional features and packages to opt from. We suggest you go for the Ventilated seats (+500) and Night Vision w/Pedestrian Detection ($2600) so that you can have a more sophisticated ride and comfort.
