Overview
The 2012 Scion xB wagon makes for an excellent contender in the subcompact wagon class. With 2 trims on offer, the Scion xB has a base MSRP of $16,300, with prices going all the way up to MSRP $17,250 for the automatic transmission version, competing directly with the Kia Soul, the MINI Cooper Countryman, and the Nissan Cube. Only a 2.4L inline-4 engine is offered, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission while a 4-speed automatic transmission is optional. Together, they produce 158 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. Accelerating from 0-60 in 8.6 seconds, the xB maintains a combined fuel economy of 24 MPG. Scion offers the xB in 7 stunning colors, with the Elusive blue metallic being a particular favorite of ours.
