Overview
Ford entered the Hybrid segment back in 2005 with the Ford Escape and since the journey wasn’t great for the brand, they stopped production for this model back in 2013. The 2020 Ford Escape is the revival of the OG hybrid compact SUV and the American automaker has returned to this segment with a bang.
Equipped with a 2.5L inline-4 engine that is mated to a battery that together pumps out 200 horses. The Ford Escape feels very refined and comes equipped with all the bells and whistles with a starting price of $28,265 making it a tough time for its rivals like the Toyota Rav4 Hybrid and the Kia Niro. It sure does look like a great comeback from the brand and this time, the hybrid doesn’t seem to escape from the market anytime soon.
