The 2011 Chevrolet Aveo Sedan makes for an excellent contender in the subcompact sedan segment. With 3 trims on offer, the Chevrolet Aveo has a base MSRP of $11,965, with prices going all the way up to an MSRP of $15,365, competing directly with the Nissan Versa Sedan, the Toyota Yaris Sedan, and the Ford Fiesta Sedan. Only a 1.6L Inline-4 engine is offered, mated to a default 5-speed manual transmission or an available 4-speed automatic transmission. Together, they produce 108 horsepower and 104 lb-ft of torque. Buying Advice

The Chevrolet Aveo with the 1LT trim configuration makes the most sense because not only does it open up a path to the optional package such as the Driver Convenience Package and the Power & Convenience Package but it is also qualified for the automatic transmission which is not given on the base trim.
